Welcome to the Black Letter website.
Black Letter consists of an illustrator and calligrapher that work together to produce unique and handmade pieces of art. Please feel free to browse our online catalogue, which shows our main stock items, as well as examples of commission work recently undertaken.
Black Letter offer three types of work - calligraphy, prints and commissions.
Calligraphy
All calligraphy is produced by hand, there are two types:
Decorated calligraphy - in gouache (paint) and (or) ink
Illuminated calligraphy - 23 carat gold leaf illumination with some decoration
Prints
All prints are limited editions, there are three types:
Hand made prints - print only
Hand made prints - print with text
Commercial prints - reproduction prints (from our original work), produced using the latest giclee technology
Commissions
